The regime revealed that the draft of constitution will be finalized in 2007. People of Burma should not wait for it which does not guarantee democracy, human rights and ethnic equality of Burmese peoples as a whole. It was the biggest reshuffle in the army that about 800 army officers were forced to resign from the army, and the regime also planned to force about 3000 to resign in near future. The regime seems to energize the army to be stronger by substituting for young generations.   more »

Military deligations led by Gen Shwe Mann made a farewel visit to China. The regime seems to introduce China to a new potential leader of future Burma; Gen. Shwe Mann. Hopefully, not only relation between two countries but also military affairs could be discussed.   more »
